concrete poem

(words)

these letters here

(don't)

are only to give shape to this circle

(hurt)

just big enough to punch a fist through.

(your)

now punch your fists through.

(silence)

again. and again.

(do)

I just wanted to say how moving this piece is. I just discovered your blog today and am intrigued by your talent. I will be reading the rest of your poetry.

Thank you Rose for your kind comment. Hardest is the jelling of an idea, and crafting it in the way that the result is what you meant it in your thoughts and heart, without losing the immediacy and without sounding like something someone's said a million times over.
